Falconry Hub
I'm building a gathering place for falconers - the knowledge, the craft, and the people who keep it. The community is coming home.
Opening 2027
Why I'm building this
Falconry has always been passed hand to hand - from an experienced falconer to a newer one, in the field, over years. The places we gathered online to do that have thinned out, closed, or drifted away from the craft entirely. I watched it happen, and I missed it.
So I'm building one of those places again: somewhere for practising falconers, and a home for the knowledge that only comes from time spent with a bird on the fist. No rush, and no shortcuts - I would rather get this right than get it quickly.
Knowledge worth keeping
Decades of hard-won field experience - manning, weight management, moulting, hunting - written down by the people who actually do it, and kept somewhere it will not vanish when a forum goes dark.
Falconers, not spectators
A members' community for practising falconers and the people training toward it. Introductions come from within, so the room stays the room.
The long view
Falconry is measured in seasons, not clicks. I'm building something that will still be useful to whoever takes up their first bird in twenty years.
Where things stand
I'm rebuilding the community now, with the aim of opening the doors for the 2027 season. There is nothing to join yet - this page exists so you know it is coming, and so I can tell you when it arrives.
Be told when we open
Leave your address and I will write to you once, when the community opens its doors.
